This weekend my friend and I decided we needed a little R&R so we headed to the spa at The Ritz to get a pedicure, a “Wild Lime Botanical Scalp Massage” (which I highly recommend…be sure to ask for Phillip), and to take advantage of the relaxing facilities (steam room, sauna, whirlpool, etc). The spa, which opened in August 2007, is one of my favorites in the city and offers a plethora of services, including some that you may not be aware of that are quite easy on the wallet. For instance, did you know that you can get a blow-out (including styling) for only $30 at the salon? Amanda, one of the stylists, can even help you put together your own extensions. All you have to do is bring her the goods (hair, clips, thread, etc). They also offer daily specials during the week such as “Martinis and Manicures” on Monday and “Beauty and Bubbles” on Friday. Spread the love and treat your mom to the Prada Mother’s Day Specials: 50-Minute Prada Facial or 50-Minute Prada Body Therapy for only $99 (Valid April 1-30).
