Beauty Boost

In our line of work there are a lot of beauty products and facials to be had, but last week I got a facial  from a lovely lady with the Spanish skincare company, Natura Bisse (US headquarters are in Irving) that I am still reaping the rewards of. I was running late to my appointment (no shocker there) so I didn’t get to experience the full hour treatment, but Irena assured me she would do what she could to leave me feeling relaxed and my skin looking great. After cleansing my face, she applied a glycolic peel – massaging my shoulders while it worked it’s magic, and finished off with a Viatmin C-infused moisturizer. Sure enough, I left feeling rejuvenated and my skin was glowing. The glycolic peel did wonders for my skin (I have a few small discolorations on my skin from previous blemishes) and I was excited to learn I could continue to get these results right at home with the line’s Glyco Extreme Peel (pictured at left). The intensive exfoliating treatment contains prickly pear, a natural botanical extract that “promotes skin’s own enzymatic function” and eliminates dead skin cells. Because of the high content of active ingredients (60% – which is close to the percentage used in professional chemical peelings) it provides instant results including diminishing wrinkles, eliminating impurities, unclogging pores, and lightening dark spots. According to Irena, using this stuff twice a week will keep my skin looking and feeling great and so far it has. I am officially addicted. To schedule an appointment with Irena, call 214-363-8311 (Neiman Marcus NorthPark) and ask for the Natura Bisse counter. The best part: the facial is complimentary with the purchase of two products.
UPDATE: I was informed that you are actually not obliged to purchase any products, but of course, most do as that’s the whole point of getting the treatment…to see what skincare products will work best for you.
