V Spa Goes Green in March

Who’s tired of all the Valentine’s Day hoopla already? One, two, three, … yup, everybody everywhere. Thank goodness V Spa is moving on to March and greener pastures by offering 20 percent off all Om Aroma “Sexy Green” products throughout the month. (After much confusion, there are no products called “sexy green.” The company’s just launching (has launched?) their “Sexy Green” ecozine—an online magazine about luxurious yet environmentally conscious living.) The products are made with fancy, fair-trade, organic ingredients like caviar, Champagne, and truffles. And they’re naturally sourced, non-toxic, and packaged by hand using eco-friendly and sustainable materials. I just tried the Elixir de Beaute Champagne exfoliating facial cleanser ($48), and it’s a hit. First, it smells great (natural and fresh, not too perfumed). Second, the tiny exfoliating beads do the trick but aren’t too abrasive. Third, it lathers. Love the lather. Follow up with the Creme Luxe ($95), a thick moisturizer I’ve found works well before bed (a little greasy for my skin during the day, but I probably just tried the wrong formula), and the Extrait de Caviar silky, smooth eye cream ($72). The whole process feels uber-luxurious because you’ve just had Champagne, caviar, and truffles—which would make for a pretty fantastic Valentine’s Day. … Blurg.

Also, book one of two organic facial treatments during March and get a complimentary Om Aroma mini eye cream.

UPDATE: Sexy Green launches this Saturday, Feb. 14.
