I believe Peggy mentioned the Dallas Art Fair on our old site–an art happening that promises to be very exciting for the city, and about which we’ll be blogging a lot more. But Peggy is in D.C. at the moment, hobnobbing with the rich and famous (she’s promised to put in a good word with Oprah for me), so it’s up to me to report that The Mansion is giving away free tickets for a docent-led tour of the Dallas Art Fair exhibits at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 6. Who gets them? The first 50 people to make a reservation for lunch or dinner in The Mansion Restaurant. Here’s a thought: you and the special someone could celebrate Valentine’s Day a little early. Call 214-443-4747 and mention you’re in it for the Dallas Art Fair tickets. Word to the wise: Don’t order a Bud Light. They don’t have it anymore.
