At the latest Chanel show, that is. Yesterday Karl Lagerfeld debuted the spring 2009 couture collection in Paris (sadly, I wasn’t there), which consisted of mostly white with a little black here and there. Aside from the beautifully-crafted clothes, the models heads got a lot of attention, decorated with paper-flower constructions (pictured at bottom left), as reported by Style.com. According to Fashion Week Daily:
“The handiwork was equally otherworldly: a single dress embroidered with pearls and sequins, trimmed with leaves and flowers, took 800 hours to make.”
