Still on the Hunt for the Perfect Red…

At one of our recent photo shoots we were discussing how hard it is to find the perfect red lipstick. One of the MAC make-up artists who was doing the make-up for the shoot said she had one for me to try called Rapturous. The problem is, like Katie discussed in a previous blog, reds always end up looking pink against my fair yellow-toned skin. Plus, I alway feel I need to blot red lipstick because it is too bright on me – but I think that might be my problem. Maybe I’m just not used to wearing that much lipstick. It never looks like too much when I see someone else wearing it. At the shoot that day I felt ok wearing the red she gave me until we got outside. I was afraid I looked like a clown. Everyone told me it looked good but I still felt uncomfortable. Someone snapped a pic of me with it on. Let me know what you think…
