New York Fashion week kicked off today, with designers such as Julie Haus, Jenni Kayne, Nicole Miller, and Erin Featherston showing editors, buyers, and fashion insiders what they have in store for Spring 2009. I am on my way to the Big Apple tomorrow morning to cover as many shows as I can, including designers such as Carolina Herrera, Lela Rose, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, and more. Get a glimpse of the runway, scene, and happenings at Fashion Week Daily and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week‘s web sites. I will be hitting the pavement of NYC in my heels (I don’t wear flats, even in New York) and on my way to the tents around 5 PM tomorrow. Check back to get the scoop on the trends and the excitement of New York Fashion Week. I will give a recap at the end (or beginning) of everyday.
