Humphreys & Partners Architects Taps Megan Dimmer as CEO

Dimmer succeeds founder Mark Humphreys, who becomes chairman.

Multifamily architecture firm Humphreys & Partners has named Megan Dimmer its new CEO, as founder Mark Humphreys transitions to chairman of the board.

“This is a very exciting time for HPA as we continue to make significant changes to position our company for long-term success across major markets: multifamily, student housing, mixed-use, hospitality, commercial, masterplanning, and more,” Humphreys said in a statement. “As chairman and owner of HPA, I’m thrilled to have Megan as our new CEO and executing our strategic plans for the future.”

Dimmer formerly served as chief strategy officer for HPA. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, she held various leadership positions at Lexmark International, a global imaging solutions company, where she worked for more than 15 years. Combined, she has more than 16 years of experience leading a Fortune 500 company.

“Megan has a track record of pushing innovation and streamlining company-wide processes drastically increasing productivity and client experience,” Humphreys said. “In my new role as chairman, I look forward to assisting Megan and the team as we continue to revolutionize the industry with innovative, cost-effective designs—and solidifying our position as the premier multifamily firm in the world.”

HPA is a global company, but its heart is in Dallas, and the firm has left its mark on a host of projects in the metro, including Gables Fairmount, The Ritz Carlton II, One Uptown, and Frisco Square.
