Women lawyers have a strong and impressive presence at Goranson Bain Ausley, beginning with founding partner Angie Bain, who helped establish the firm in 1987. Of the 36 lawyers at GBA, two-thirds are female, and women account for more than 50% of partners at the firm. In addition, three of the firm’s founding women partners were former judges, and two of GBA’s women lawyers, Diana Friedman and Kathryn Murphy, are recipients of the Sam Emison Award, one of the most coveted awards in family law.
