Dr. Christopher Hebert is honored to be recognized by his peers and
D Magazine for the Hall of Fame issue as one of the best physicians in the field of nephrology and hypertension. A native of Dallas and Jesuit graduate, Dr. Hebert received a biology degree from St. Edward’s University in Austin and then completed all his medical education at UT Health Science Center in Houston. His clinical interests and areas of expertise include management of hypertension, acute kidney injury and continuous renal replacement therapy, and prevention of chronic kidney disease progression. Dr. Hebert’s main passion is education, and he maintains an active faculty position at Texas A&M HSC College of Medicine/BUMC where he has been since 2005. “I feel fortunate to work in a profession that gives me so many opportunities to try to make a positive difference in people’s lives,” he says.
