Child's Path

“Prepare the child for the path—not the path for the child.” This is the motto of Child’s Path in Frisco, which provides individualized therapeutic programs for children who have unique learning needs. The treatment clients receive at Child’s Path jumpstarts their journey to becoming independent, lifelong learners. By incorporating behavioral support, parent education, and inclusive peer modeling, the goal is to help clients navigate and overcome challenging behaviors or situations instead of avoiding them, working through barriers to the learning process.

An educated, passionate team uses an individualized approach of play-based applied behavior analysis, which is an evidenced-based treatment proven effective for children with autism. Experts at Child’s Path provide this treatment in the community, home, or clinic for one-on-one skills or social training.

Child’s Path is also a training center for professionals in the autism treatment field. Co-founders Kerry Pines and Cathy Boatman developed a successful training program and master’s level internship for providers that has a 100% pass rate on the board exam. Through research and by training tomorrow’s professionals and leaders, Child’s Path is improving the future of autism treatment in Dallas-Fort Worth communities.

Testimonials: “Child’s Path has been the best place for our child.” “I am thankful we have this wonderful relationship with Child’s Path.” “We went through many other centers and none of them were even close to Child’s Path when it comes to ethics and performance.”

Now in its eighth year, Child’s Path has received numerous awards and recognition, including the Best of Frisco award in the therapist category two years in a row. As an integral part of the Frisco Community and the surrounding areas, Child’s Path is proud to continue its collaboration with local organizations, schools, and families to promote awareness and education so its clients can reach their fullest potential.
