NFL Super Bowl champion and first-round draft pick, John S. Michels, M.D., is an expert in pain. After an injury ended his football career, he decided to take his experience as a patient and use it to drive his passion as a double board-certified doctor of interventional pain management.
As a result of his road to healing, Dr. Michels possesses a deeper understanding of the complex challenges of pain. This motivates him to help each patient return to optimal health. At his practice, his goal is to ensure that pain and injury don’t stop his patients from living their lives to the fullest.
Dr. Michels is a world-renowned expert in interventional pain medicine. He is a member of the board of directors for the American Society of Pain & Neuroscience.
