Since the DRC’s humble beginning in 1967, the club has grown from 20 members to 4,300. In addition to discounts at local running stores, DRC membership offers runners (and walkers) an opportunity to support local charities at the club’s eight annual free races.

For “$20 and a good sense of humor,” this group offers its members a scenic approach to running. NTTR members can be found along Northshore Trail at Lake Grapevine most Saturday mornings.

With more than 700 members, the club hosts races the last Saturday of each month, with distances ranging from 1 mile to 15K, at Plano’s Bob Woodruff Park. Members range in age from kiddos to seniors and in ability from recreational to competitive.
