75 percent of the tickets are split among the 32 NFL teams. That 75 percent is allocated this way:
Dallas Cowboys (as Host Team) – 5%
AFC representative team – 17.5%
NFC representative team – 17.5%
The NFL offers about 1 percent of the tickets for sale to fans selected through an annual Super Bowl random drawing. This is the league’s only method of distributing tickets to the general public. – 1%
The remaining 25 percent of the tickets are controlled by the NFL, and are distributed
mainly to NFL affiliated companies, the broadcast network, corporate sponsors, media, and the host committee. – 25%
