Athletic gear gets a makeover this season. Designers such as Stella McCartney, Yohji Yamamoto, Alexander McQueen, and Junya Watanabe are bringing a little fashion to fitness by collaborating with sportswear houses Adidas, Puma, and Nike. This spring Stella McCartney will launch a golf line for Adidas. “I think it’s about time that women who play golf can now echo what they wear in everyday life on the green,” she says. Burberry, Chanel, Carolina Herrera, Lacoste, Michael Kors, and Hermes also offer stylish sporting goods such as tennis rackets, bicycles, sneakers, hats, and more. Now there’s no excuse not to hit the gym, or at least look like you are.
