Say what you will about the buses in the parking lot at III Forks. The restaurant sold more alcohol in 2006 than any other restaurant in town—about $4 million worth. Even though the December figures from the Texas Bar & Restaurant Report weren’t available at press time, it won’t matter for III Forks. It’s No. 1 by a mile. Or by many cases of vino, if you will. Owner Gene Street has reason to brag.
