Former Cafe Brazil manager Omar Zuniga has turned a greasy spoon into the cute-as-pie retro-cool diner Buzzbrews, which offers a slew of snazzy breakfast and lunch treats to hungry Dallas denizens 24 hours a day. Like CB, hot java is self-serve, all-you-can-drink, for two bucks a pop. But we love to carbo load, and banana nut pancakes are how we do it: buttermilk pancakes topped with fresh banana slices, chopped walnuts, powdered sugar, and Vermont maple syrup.
