MICHELLE SHELMIRE

Vital Statistics:
44; three children in school, husband Jesse; studies natural medicine,
most recently in the south of France; social passions include the Human
Rights Campaign.
Always in the Closet: “I am a
Gemini, so that changes.” But look for Dries Van Noten, Prada, Dolce
& Gabbana, Jean Paul Gaultier, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Manolo
Blahniks, black Armani pants, and lots of white blouses.
Personal Style:
“I like to be somewhat traditional, with a bohemian twist. I put things
together to reflect my own personality. It’s also fun to make people
think, ’Hmmm, how’d she come up with that?’”
Can’t Live Without:
Shoes. “I can smell it when there are new shoes at Neiman’s.” Current
favorites: black knee-high leather Calvin Klein boots and champagne
satin Marc Jacobs ankle boots.
Must-haves for Fall: Bright shoes with everything.

Michelle is wearing a D&G brocade
coat with a pink crushed-silk vintage slip dress from a Paris flea
market, olive Prada sandals, and green South Sea pearls.

FASI PAYERVAND

periodontal business; active with Dallas Museum of Art, Crystal Charity
Ball, Family Gateway; owns 75 handbags.
Always in the Closet:
Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, Etro, and Nanette Lepore. A great pair of
jeans (her favorites are Blue Cult), boots, and, of course, a slew of
handbags.
Personal Style: “Classic, fashion
forward, and sexy. But ’classic’ is the key word. I like to mix wool
pants or jeans with slinky tops and short, fitted jackets.”
Can’t Live Without:
A D&G fitted cream skirt suit with black fur-trimmed jacket—a gift
from her husband. “Every time I put it on, it’s still pretty.”
Must-haves for Fall: A cashmere shawl with fox-fur trim, a Nanette Leopore tweed pantsuit, and an Hermès bag.

Fasi is wearing a Luca Luca black
shearling coat with silk-ribbon tie and removable jeweled cuffs and
Me&Ro necklaces with a favorite Chopard jeweled heart necklace.

PATTI CREWS

Vital Statistics:

49; three kids in school and husband Ken; vice president of development
for the Family Place; board of directors, Dedman College at SMU.
Seen at St. Marks Football Games In: Zac Posen and Roberto Cavalli. “But a little goes a long way.”
Personal Style: “What day is it? [laughs] I don’t wear the same outfit the same way twice. I enjoy the challenge of creating unusual looks.”
Always in the Closet: “Valentino, because it’s timeless. Pieces by a new designer of the year to mix things up.”
Can’t Live Without: Dolce & Gabbana black leather high heels. “I can run city blocks and leap across tall buildings in those shoes.”
Must-haves for Fall:
A brown suede skirt suit from Louis Vuitton with monogrammed silk
lining; two stunning pieces from Barneys by Jane Laug, who incorporates
her jewelry designs into clothing.

Patti is wearing a Zac Posen dress
