WHETHER THE STYLE IS SPORTY, classic, or trendy, men’s fall fashion is ready. This season has so many options for the traditional suit and tie or the popular sport jacket layered look. (The latter, i of course, is perfect for Da] las fall weather because we never know what the temperature will be.)
As for color and fabric, the choices have never been so creative and sophisticated: Old-world classics like navy, gray, camel, and black are making a strong comeback, while new colors such as burnt orange, sage, olive, and deep purple add a fresh touch of glamour for all occasions. A hint of color can jazz up a suit, sweater, or sport coat in any man’s closet. Texture-like a boucle jacket-is also a nice touch. Leather and suede are musts, and tweeds are being reintroduced in men’s collections.
A man with real taste is not driven by trends; the new classic man has an appreciation for style. And updating your wardrobe doesn’t mean a new set of clothes every season. It means selecting a few pieces to incorporate into your existing closet to refresh your favorite suit or sport coat.
