GALLERY PICK OF THE MONTH

Dallas artist Bernice Montgomery likes to mix it up. Through her one-person company, Urban Crew, she often collaborates with children and other artists, creating commissioned murals and illustrations. And her current exhibit, “Citi of Refuge,” is a collection of 20 mixed media paintings and assemblages inspired by the Book of Psalms. It’s on display at the Irving Arts Center through July 3. 3333 N. MacArthur Blvd. 972-252-7558.
