The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour will be broadcast at a special time-6 p.m.-on Channel 13, Monday, March 9 through Friday, March 20. The newscast will then repeat at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Channel 2 as well as 1 a.m. on Channel 13. Also, our regular Sunday morning public affairs programs- Tony Brown’s Journal, Wall treet Week, The McLaughlin Group, and Firing Line -will air from 4 to 6 a.m. on Sunday during Channel 13’s March 6-22 pledge drive.
We’re on the Write Course
KERA 90.1 will present Paula LaRocque’s Advanced Writing Seminar on Saturday, March 14, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Cityplace Conference Center in Dallas. LaRocque, assistant managing editor and writing coach of The Dallas Morning News, will cover the “story” approach to writing with emphasis on color, voice and special effects.
