THUMBS UP A PROUD CHAPTER

THUMBS UP to the Dallas/Fort Worth Association of Black Communicators, recently named Chapter of the Year by the National Association of Black Journalists. Formed in 1981, the DFW/ABC serves as a professional network for its approximately 50 members and monitors minority issues in the local media. Its chief task, however, is raising scholarship funds-over $200,000 to dale-for minority students planning careers in communication.
