THUMBS UP DRESS FOR SUCCESS

Thumbs up to trustees of the Dallas Independent School District board for adopting a stricter dress code for students and teachers. The new rules drew whines from both groups-an understandable reaction from the kids, but not from professionals who should welcome the change as one simple way to send an important message: School is a serious place where important things happen, not a place to mimic M.C. Hammer and Madonna.
