THUMBS DOWN Judge Entz’s Poor Judgment

Thumbs down to Judge Harold Entz for allowing his private chambers to be used for a press conference following the guilty verdict in the Glen Anthony/Nancy Jane Taylor armed robbery case. In the highly publicized trial, the wife of DART board member Tom Taylor accused Anthony, a handyman, of abducting her and steal ing $1,200, though there was evidence that the two had been having an affair. Entz’s move after the verdict smacks of bias, and does little to enhance trust in an impartial judiciary.
