About the Murchison Home

|

Murchison Development, Inc. (MDI)is proud to have constructed the 1989Symphony Showhouse. The newresidence of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Murchison at 4800 Lakeside Drive, exemplifies MDI’s painstaking attention toquality and detail. The Showhouse owesits distinction, in part, to the dedicatedassistance of its architect, Frank Welchand interior designer, Lisa Gilchrist.Without the additional skill and laborprovided by numerous highly-qualifiedsubcontractors, the Symphony projectwould never have been possible. Fromthe selection of the site to the timelessdesign and extensive use of naturalwoods and stones, emphasis has beenplaced on simplistic beauty. This attention to clean lines required low 1tolerances for error in both design andconstruction. The finished product willstand as a testament to the value ofquality design, materials andconstruction.

MDI’s future projects will feature the same excellence in quality and detail. MDI is acquiring residential lots in North Dallas and Piano and will soon commence construction of luxury residences. MDI plans to become a major force in the Dallas fine homes market.

MDI, with the backing of its parent company, Murchison Oil and Gas, Inc., (MOGI), also plans development of commercial property in North Dallas. MOGI’s tract at the corner of the North Dallas Parkway and Keller Springs Road provides a beautiful golf course setting as well as highly desirable access to the tollway. MOGI plans to enhance its North Dallas property with a development which equals its location in beauty and quality.

Through home construction, commercial development and continued success in oil and gas operations as well as civic participation, the J.D. Murchison group of companies looks forward to the promising years ahead for the metroplex.
