B & R Crossing is a child’s dream come true. In one comer of the shop, kids are sure to spot the toy chest stocked mile high with gadgets-wooden puzzles, electric trains, miniature pirate ships, kites, and fast-paced pedal cars. The art department is chock full of palette water colors, oil pastels, easels, and mammoth drawing pads. There is kid-related gear to accommodate the lifestyle of every little one-assorted lunch boxes, back packs, and duffle bags for the school-bound, outdoor equipment for the sandbox-bound, and tamborines, harmonicas, even ukuleles for the musically inclined. Sprinkled throughout the shop are the fixings for birthday parties (intitations, plates and napkins, and a wide variety of party favors), gifts for the kids to give to the adults in their lives, and practical play clothes (you’ll find no frilly party outfits here).
