Sitting behind a ten-foot red-and-yellow neon ice cream cone on West Lovers Lane is the newest old-fash-ioned ice cream parlor to hit town. We can’t decide what the feature attraction of The Ice Creamery is, since there’s so much going, on here. First. the sweets: fifty homemade flavors rotate on a daily basis. Then there are the toppings: fresh fruits, Oreo cookies, and Heath bars for starters. But The Ice Creamery is also for fan and games. There’s tic-tac-toe inside, and you’re sure to find a fierce game of hopscotch being played on the backyard patio. Take a seat on a milk can and watch the huge ice cream machine crank out your next scoop-or give it a whirl yourself. (Tor birthday parties, they’ll even send in downs and magicians to dazzle the kids.)
