THUMB AWARD A NEW LOW PRICE

|

Thumbs Down to Bill Price, head of the Dallas chapter of Right to Life, for stooping to character assassination during a recent debate with pro-abortion activist Charlotte Tafton WFAA’s “The Ed Busch TV Talk Show.” Price first accused Taft of profiteering from the abortion business, though he refused to reveal his own salary. Then, in the closing moments of the show, he brandished an unidentified newspaper article and said he was “forced” to reveal that Taft, head of the Routh Street Women’s Clinic, was one of six “gay activist members” of the Democratic National Platform Committee. “The fact of the matter is that you are a lesbian, Charlotte,” Price said. “Admit it. Admit it. C’mon out of the closet; the door is open.” Earlier, Price said he did not condone the tactics of those who destroy buildings to protest abortion. Perhaps he thinks destroying reputations is enough.
