Thumbs Up to the Dallas Citizens/Pblice Relations Board for recommending to the Dallas Police Department and the City Council that they determine the feasibility of enacting a handgun ordinance to prohibit sales of con-cealable handguns. The proposal is sure to be opposed by gun dealers, who say it would hurt their business, and by citizens who believe they have the right to protect themselves with handguns. It will be interesting to see if the recommendation is taken seriously by the Dallas City Council.
