THUMB AWARD MAGNET ATTRACTS MONEY

Thumbs Up to Arts Magnet High School of the Dallas Independent School District for being one of only eight schools in the United States chosen to receive a $10,000 scholarship from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. David Rockefeller Jr. presented the gift at the school in early May. Arts Magnet competed with more than 500 other high schools across the nation, each of which was subject to a lengthy review process by a committee from the organization.
