THUMB AWARD MADD MONEY

|

Thumbs Up to the management of Sesame Place children’s park for donating almost $5,000 to Mothers against Drunk Drivers (MADD). During May, the park was open to the general public on weekends and to groups on Wednesdays through Fridays. Because most of Sesame Place’s employees are students, the management was having difficulty finding workers for the weekdays during that time. As a solution, the park hired MADD volunteers to work, with the wages going to the organization. Close to 160 people (including 45 men) worked 221 shifts.
