Thumbs Up to KAAM and KAFM for getting the Dallas and Fort Worth Police departments working together on a system to get drunk drivers off our streets. A hotline, 263-5DWI, has been established for motorists to use when they spot a drunk driver. An operator manning the hotline, which is funded by the radio stations, will dispatch the information concerning the driver -location, make of car, etc. -to the nearest police department. The program began Christmas Eve and will continue through the year. In the first two weeks, approximately 150 tips were received.
