Thumbs Up to Mayor Starke Taylor for his positive action toward making Dallas an international city. For months-perhaps years-we’ve been hearing that Dallas is aiming to become more international, but that’s about it. Recently, the mayor set things into motion by attending a meeting in Zurich, Switzerland, in order to sell our city as a desirable target for international corporations that wish to relocate in the United States. He came back to Dallas with nearly a dozen prospects, which could create thousands of jobs for the city. Since the trip was somewhat experimental, the mayor picked up the expenses himself.
