Thumbs Up to the Dallas Citizens Council, the Dallas P.T.A. and the Chamber of Commerce for initiating the Positive Parents of Dallas program. Running fullpage ads in The Dallas Morning News, Positive Parents touts the virtues and benefits of the Dallas public school system. The ads are made into flyers, which are mailed to Realtors and transplanted families, and into posters, which are being placed in business offices. The parents plan to distribute buttons and bumper stickers, and plan to purchase television time in order to strengthen Dallas’ confidence in the DISD.
