VISION EDITOR OUT OF THE PICTURE AT KERA

|

The staff at KERA-TV turns over about as often as the crowd in the Continental Trailways bus station, so anyone who’s been there for more than a couple of years is considered part of the foundation. That’s why it came as something of a shock to the Channel 13 staff when Vision magazine editor Carol Edgar, a seven-year veteran, was fired recently. Edgar’s Tiring came about after station president Ed Pfister hired newcomer John McCue to do a management study of the magazine and then to be executive publisher. McCue apparently wanted his own editor, so Edgar was dumped.
