Thumb Award GOOD SAMARITANISM IS ALIVE AND WELL IN ARLINGTON

|

Thumbs Up to Elaine Solomon and Lloyd Counts, two Arlington residents who helped the authorities catch – and convict – a hit-and-run driver whose car struck down jogger John Ashlock. Ms. Solomon, a witness to the incident, submitted to hypnotism and gave police vital details. Counts, who is turning his share of a $1500 reward over to a fund to help Ashlock, recognized the car from a description and called police. The driver was given a five-year prison term.
