Mrs. William Wright Lynch



“I’ve a long-standing interest in young people so I enjoy reading what they are doing for our city and what our city is doing for them. That’s one of the reasons we take the Times Herald.”



Mrs. William Wright Lynch is the wife of a retired president and board chairman of Texas Power and Light Company. Marty Lynch has served on the executive committee of The National Committee for Children and Youth. She was first chairman of the Scholarship Program of the West Dallas Community Centers and now serves on the advisory committee for Educational Opportunities, Inc. Mrs. Lynch is past president of the Lyceum Club, DSO league, woman’s board of the DCO and Dallas Council on World Affairs. She is also on the board of Dallas Civic Music, G.B. Dealey Awards for Young Artists, Development of UT at Dallas and Northwood Institute. She has served on the advisory board of the Dallas County Heritage Society and the Crystal Charity Ball and is a Trustee of the Dallas Theater Center and DSO. Mrs. Lynch has received the Arete, Award, Zonta Award and a Service Award from the Texas Youth Council at Austin, she has also received the Honor Award from the National Jewish Hospital of Denver. She is listed in Who’s Who of American Women.
