You’ve heard the recent population number games. Is San Antonio bigger than Dallas? Is the Metroplex bigger than the Houstoplex? Depends on which Chamber of Commerce you want to listen to.
So here’s a good, solid population fact: Dallas is getting bigger. Faster. According to MP-F Research Inc., the population of the 6-county Dallas area (Dallas, Denton, Collin, Rockwall, Kaufman, Ellis) grew faster in 1977 than any year since the boom in 1971, an estimated increase of 38,400. There will be more in 1978. According to MP-F projections, 50,000 more.
So what? So take it to your next party and be a hit.
