We asked Dallas tastemakers for their seasonal staples—those items that, for them, the holidays wouldn’t be complete without. Wildlike’s Alysa Teichman shares her favorites.

Favorite place to buy gifts: Avant Garden—who doesn’t love fresh flowers?

Favorite hostess gift: Flowers or a bottle of my favorite wine

Best place to buy a holiday party outfit: I tend to dress up whatever I’m wearing with something a little more decadent and sparkly than usual!

Go-to bottle of wine for the holiday: California Cabs are my family’s favorite year-round

Favorite holiday tradition: We go to Yountville in the Napa Valley for Thanksgiving a few days with uninterrupted food and drink with my favorite people. I never feel a stronger sense of gratitude!

Favorite holiday event in Dallas: I spend most of my time between Thanksgiving and Christmas in my stores, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! There’s nothing like the holiday rush when you work in retail.

Best Santa in Dallas: I have the best memories of the ice-skating Santa from Ylang 23‘s years at the Galleria.
