The women’s shelter operates a store where victims of domestic violence shop for wardrobe items and home goods for free. It takes clothing, shoes, and accessories for women, men, and children, as well as toys and books.

Dallas Animal Services

The city animal shelter has a never-ending need for soft blankets, comforters, quilts, and towels for homeless pets to snuggle and snooze on.

Furniture & Appliances

Bed Start

The Plano-based nonprofit helps set up house for people coming out of homelessness, shelters, and emergency relocations. It accepts furniture, mattresses, and appliances. Pickup available in Collin, most of Dallas, and parts of Denton and Tarrant counties.

Nonperishable Food

North Texas Food Bank

Canned tuna and chicken, peanut butter, canned vegetables, dried beans, whole-grain pasta and rice, and healthy cereal are a few of the most-needed items.

Housewares & Decor

Habitat for Humanity

The organization best known for building new houses for low-income families stocks four Dallas-area ReStore resale outlets with new and gently used items such as dishes, artwork, lamps, and rugs.
