O’Neil Ford and Associates designed this significant modernist home in 1958; Ford protégé Scott Lyons added on in 1961. It was recently restored by Los Angeles designer John Janik. The three-bedroom, four-bathroom house overlooks a heated pool and 300 feet of creek frontage on 1.19 wooded acres. The 4,678-square-foot house is a tribute to midcentury modern with 10-foot-tall ceilings, terrazzo floors, tall sliding-glass doors, and multiple courtyards. The careful renovation preserved the original travertine kitchen counters under reversible stainless steel sheaths and infused the master and study with fir paneling.
