Permanent Exhibit: The New Nasher Sculpture Center Store

Two of Raymond Nasher’s most noted contributions—the recently opened Nasher Sculpture Center and NorthPark Center, which opened in 1965—are united in the Nasher Sculpture Center Store. Located on the first level, across from Barneys, it’s beautiful and museum-like. Each piece is chosen for its sculptural and artistic qualities, including mouth-blown glass birds by Oiva Toikka and sandstone jewelry by Somers Randolph. Check out Colin Schleeh’s sleek wooden vases—each at least 2 feet tall—and wall sculptures (below is “Woodwind Splash”). Meet the artist when he pops in Sept. 15. 8687 N. Central Expwy., Ste. 1424. 214-363-8844.
