Rooms We Love
LIVING ROOM

We love this room’s effortless mix of sleek 20th-century furniture classics, period Louis XV furniture, and museum-quality tribal and ethnic artifacts. Jim “Rags” Ragsdale and Michael Ventriglia’s collection includes 18th-century African masks mounted on Lucite bases, a custom-made coffee table whose base is a pair of 17th-century rams’ head carvings, a period Louis XV leather chair, and a pair of 40-year-old Barcelona chairs and ottoman, upholstered in their original leather. A set of hand-carved metal toys from Thailand belonged to the imperial family during the 16th century. All this is housed in architect George Dahl’s masterpiece on Turtle Creek Boulevard, Gold Crest Condominiums.
