D Home hosts a tasting party for the St. Mark’s cookbook at Miele showroom.

On April 6, St. Mark’s football players and their moms sampled a broad range of recipes included in their much anticipated “Pride of the Lions” cookbook (publication date: September 2003) at Miele’s cheery showroom in the Dallas Design District. Miele showroom manager Pat Bender made it a perfect Sunday afternoon event, helping the moms serve everything from Taco Chili to Doubly Delicious Banana Cake. Guests stayed on until the last crumb was “tested.”
