A staple of the State Fair of Texas since 1942, the Fletcher’s Original Corny Dogs brand continues with the next generation of family entrepreneurs. Below, Aaron Fletcher discusses his in- and out-of-office attire. Whether he’s in the booth frying up corny dogs during the 24-day State Fair run or dressing up for an evening out on the town, read more about the executive fashion of one of Dallas’ most iconic brands.

What I Do: “This year, our family company is celebrating its 80th anniversary. As CEO, my main responsibilities consist of strategic planning, partnerships, and generally keeping things on track so we can continue providing corny dogs to future generations of fans.”

Style Icons: “David Gandy is a personal style hero of mine. I also admire Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, and Miles Davis.”

At Work: “You’ll always find me in the same uniform as our employees: black polo, black shorts, and red hat. (Oil doesn’t show much on black.)”

Fashion Inspiration: “I’ve always had a deep interest in art, film, and interior design. Lately, I’m inspired by New York, Jazz music, and Pitti Immagine Uomo in Italy. I also recently read a book called Black Ivy: A Revolt in Style, which swayed a lot of my current closet.”

Style Defined: “Classic. You won’t find me trying to follow trends too much, except wide-leg pants; I am all in on that.”

Fashion Essentials: “My glasses, a ’47 clean-up baseball cap, and Checkerboard Vans.”

How I Accessorize: “I have a watch my dad left me that I love. It’s very over the top, much like he was, and completely out of character for me, but it goes with everything. Other than that, I have some rings I alternate, a bracelet, and occasionally a necklace. And always a hat.”

Weekend Look: “I’m probably the opposite of most people, I dress up on the weekends because that’s my time to be around people and go to dinner with my girlfriend. So, while my week is usually pretty relaxed, I’m really putting in effort on the weekend.”

Go-To Store: “Stag Provisions on Knox or J. Crew. I shop online mostly, and Todd Snyder is my go-to.”
