The view doesn’t get much better than Bobby Adkins’ office overlooking center field at Globe Life Park in Arlington. (And few can claim the perks of having all the peanuts and popcorn you can eat just feet away.) An original tenant of the ballpark’s corporate suites since 1995, Adkins, as you’d imagine, is a pretty serious Rangers fan. He’s been through the good times—when the Rangers made the World Series in 2011—and the bad—like this season. Another passion is Texas Tech University, and Adkins’ office is adorned with his alma mater’s Raider red. His energy financing company has active oil plays in 14 states across the country.
