“I took classes at a business school in California, but I learned from the best owners who employed me.”

First Job:
“Working as a dishwasher and busboy at an Elias Brothers Big Boy Restaurant in the Detroit area at the age of 15.”

Greatest Inspiration:
“My family. I want them to be able to enjoy all of my successes that God has blessed me with. My mentors, however, would include Wally Ganzi of the Palm Restaurant and Herb Kelleher of Southwest Airlines.”

Toughest Challenge:
“To constantly reinvent my concept to stay popular with my customers while keeping consistent quality in food and customer service.”

Car I Drive:
“A 2017 Audi RS7 Performance”

How I Motivate Others:
“I motivate my team by making sure that I respect and listen to their opinions and ideas to improve my business. I also believe in sharing my profits with people who are willing to make a commitment to the restaurant by giving them a percentage of the net operating income as a monthly bonus.”

Who’d Play Me in A Biopic:
“If there was a movie made of my life, I would like to have Matt Damon play me.”

Hobby/Passion:
“My hobbies have always been to enjoy outside activities and sports such as snow skiing, hunting, fly fishing, snowmobiling, and off-road motorcycling.”
