What I do…

I make sure that the millions of Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants around the world always have exciting, innovative skin care, make-up, and fragrance products and the high-impact marketing and digital tools they need to be successful. With the help of my team, I track fashion and beauty trends around the world so that the Mary Kay product portfolio always has what women want.

Who is your style icon?

I love a look that is classy, contemporary, and confident; Kerry Washington and Amal Clooney are definitely on my style icon list, among others.

How does your work influence what you wear?

I definitely wear a lot of pink! And because I travel a great deal internationally, I favor versatile basics in neutral colors that I can modify with accessories. I am a shoe-aholic, so I often select outfits to go with my shoes, versus the other way around!

What inspires your style choices?

Having a unique look is important to me so I like to mix and match items from a variety of sources to create an outfit. If I have time to shop when I travel, I like to purchase scarves and wraps that capture the culture of the country I’m visiting.

How would you describe your style?

Classic with a twist.

“Having a unique look is important to me so I like to mix and match items from a variety of sources to create an outfit.”

How would you say your style has evolved over the years?

I used to create and sew my own designs in high school, and they were very colorful, and very creative. I received an “honorable mention” for a Seventeen magazine show design contest that I entered. I still like unique fabrics and patterns, but I’ve toned things down a little over time.

What do you never leave home without?

I never leave home without my Mary Kay Gel Semi-Matte Lipstick in Crushed Berry. I also always have my Mary Kay compact with me because it’s customizable, and I can change the make-up and shades every day.

Do you have a go-to look?

I love to wear fun print coats as dresses.

Favorite store?

I have many. In Dallas, Stanley Korshak and Neiman Marcus are definitely on the list!
