What inspires your style choices?

“We’re always talking about new product around the office, and I always try and really pay attention to the new styles and options we’re carrying. It’s shop talk, but also gives me some inspirations for my day-to-day styles. I spend a lot of time with our buyers looking through look books, photos they took at market etc. It’s always great when we find a new line, or when one of our existing brand’s collection looks good for the next year. Seeing the new ski collections for the first time is one of my very favorite things about being in this business.”

How would you say your style has evolved over the years?

“Of course as you get older, your stye evolves. New brands come along, and others fade. When I find something that works, I go pretty deep into it. I’ver been wearing a lot of Rodd and Gunn these days. It’s growing quickly at Saint Bernard. The quality and fit are hard to beat, and equally as important, they’re great people that we enjoy working with.”

Do you have a go-to accessory?

“I’m not really attached to one item in particular, but I’ve got some nice Italian suede boots that my wife calls my “cool boots” My friends make fun of me (because they’re jealous), but I love ’em.”

How does your work influence what you wear?

“My work is by far the biggest influence on my style and what I wear. It’s super fun to see the new assortments each year, along the evolution of Saint Bernard and the brands we carry. I usually look at buyer notes and place personal orders that arrive around the same time, or I’ll just let Courtney, our men’s buyer, pick things out for me. She has a great eye that keep’s our men’s department looking great.”
