SubscribeCompany: Merrill Lynch
Title: First Vice President of Investments, Wealth Management Adviser
Details: Crockett heads up Crockett, McBride and Associates, a small group of advisers who manage clients’ assets of more than $1 billion. In 2007, Crockett was named to Barron’s list of the “Top 100 Women Financial Advisers.”
Why you need to know her: Because Crockett, who is responsible for managing the wealth of some of Texas’ most influential businesspeople, is all about making the most of a CEO’s paycheck.
When it comes to her clients’ happiness, no request is too large or small. Crockett has created educational foundations to carry on family legacies, helped junior secure a choice internship while home from college over the summer, and found the right care facility for her clients’ aging parents. Crockett even helped a client fulfill the dream of publishing her own cookbook earlier this year.
As the daughter of a CEO, Crockett says she learned how to run a company and recognized the importance of integrity in business at an early age, which ultimately led her to join Merrill Lynch as a compliance officer almost 28 years ago.
In 1990, she began working exclusively in wealth management and has since focused on the long-term goals of some of Dallas’ wealthiest families.
“I love to work with people who have big dreams,” Crockett says, “and I like to help them come about.”
